Redland Industrial Services (Arabia) Ltd – RISAL and Protech Centreform have signed a contract with Saudi Aramco for the trial application of specialised carbon fibre ceramic composite centralisers for drilling tubulars.
The Protech Centreform technology has been developed jointly with the Italian Oil Company ENI and will be used for all tubulars for the recently awarded EniRepSA gas exploration concession in the Empty Quarter of Saudi Arabia.
This technology helps to provide low friction coefficient (reduces Torque & Drag), is versatile– any geometry & any location, can applied with a short lead time and is less expensive than centralizer subs.
