This Lease contract is for a period of ten (10) years awarded by the Saudi Ports Authority (SEAPA). This includes Berthing, Unberthing, Pilotage, and Tug Assisting Salvage, Towing, Maintenance of Navigation Aids in the Red Sea, maintenance and repairs of all marine crafts in Jeddah Islamic Port and Gizan Ports. Also maintenance and repairs of marine crafts include all the vessels owned by the Saudi Port Authority in Jeddah and Gizan Ports, which includes a large number of fleets such as very large, medium & small tug, specialized crafts such as floating cranes (200 Ton lifting capacity), buoy laying/maintenance vessels, firefighting vessels etc. The slipway at Jeddah Islamic Port have capacity to lift total weight of 1000 Tons and have a big repair quay where the contractor can carry out the maintenance of all marine crafts. It is also part of the contract to maintain and operate the Control Tower Radar VTSS and other communication equipments in the tower at Jeddah Islamic Port and Gizan Port. Maintenance of Navigation Aids in the Red Sea covers Jeddah, Yanbu, Gizan and other western coast of Red Sea; there are about 400 Buoys and Beacons which are to be maintained by the contractor by using the two Buoy Laying vessels. It is also part of the contract to clear the oil pollution and recovery in the Red Sea by using the oil recovery vessel and anti pollution equipments. Fire watch for the dangerous cargo vessels which are arriving in Jeddah Islamic Port. Provide Tug assistance to the Royal Saudi Naval Force in Jeddah. Under the contract we have carried out salvage operation in Gizan and towing and salvage operation at Jeddah for grounded vessels and pilot boats. Also provide launches for supply and crew transportation to the anchorage. |
